Five-year BA LLB Law Degree Programme affiliated to Karnataka State Law University

Eligibility and Requirements

The Five-year BA.LL.B Law Degree Programme at NSoJ is open to applicants who have completed standard XII (ISC, CBSE, Pre-University, A-levels or equivalent). Applicants who are currently in Standard XII are eligible to apply.

Our selection panel must choose from a large pool of well-qualified candidates. Our panel will also take into consideration relevant extra-curricular and co-curricular achievements, including at sports, music, debates, student conferences, theater or model united nations, as well as scores in CLAT, LSAT, AILET, and other state law entrance examinations. It is expected that successful applicants will have secured at least 80% in their school examinations, applicants with lower scores who have exceptional co-curricular and extracurricular achievements may be considered.

We follow the same admissions process as top universities around the world. Applications are considered based on academic and extracurricular achievements and a demonstrated commitment to society. Our intake is limited to 30 students per class.


APPLICATION PROCESS


Step 1

Register to start the application form.

Step 2

Complete the online application form. The application form will require applicants to submit the following:

  • Personal information
  • Academic transcripts
  • Extracurricular achievements
  • A 300 words Statement of Purpose (SoP)
  • Contact details of academic and professional referees

Step 3

Submit the application form together with the application processing fee of INR 2,000 (USD 50 for foreign nationals).

Step 4

Successful candidates will be notified soon after the relevant application deadline. Candidates yet to complete their qualifying exams will receive a conditional offer.

Our Campus

NSoJ is located within an 18-acre residential campus in the heart of Bengaluru City. Our newsroom, auditorium, studio, classrooms and outdoor quadrangle encourage intellectual, literary, inter-personal and cultural engagement in an open and respectful environment.

Outstation students are encouraged to live on campus in comfortable and secure accommodation, including a separate girls' hostel. Annual costs for shared accommodation on campus, including all meals, laundry and internet are approximately Rs.90,000/-.
