The objective of this programme is to prepare you for global careers in media and communications. You will join a diverse community at NSoJ, and will graduate as compassionate, courageous and industry-ready professionals.

Eligibility and Requirements

The Integrated Honours degree programme in Journalism at NSoJ is open to applicants who (i) have completed class XII (ISC, CBSE, A-levels or equivalent); and (ii) secured a minimum first class (60%) or equivalent grade. Applicants who are awaiting results of final examinations are eligible to apply.

Our selection panel must choose from a large pool of well-qualified candidates. Our panel will also take into consideration relevant extra-curricular and co-curricular achievements, including at sports, music, debates, student conferences, theatre or model united nations, as well as examples of articles, blog posts, videos, podcasts or other such published material.

We follow the same admissions process as top universities around the world. Applications are considered based on academic and extracurricular achievements and a demonstrated commitment to society. Our intake is limited to 30 students per class.


APPLICATION PROCESS


Step 1

Register to start the application form.

Step 2

Complete the online application form. The application form will require applicants to submit the following:

  • Personal information
  • Academic transcripts
  • Extracurricular achievements
  • A 300 words Statement of Purpose (SoP)
  • Contact details of academic and professional referees

Step 3

Submit the application form together with the application processing fee of INR 2,000 (USD 50 for foreign nationals).

Step 4

Successful candidates will be notified soon after the relevant application deadline. Candidates yet to complete their qualifying exams will receive a conditional offer.
