Poornima is a lecturer in the Department of Psychology. She is a post graduate in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology. She has expertise working with differently abled children and as a Field Researcher for the LASI-DAD project at NIMHANS. She believes in learning through teaching. She is also a trained vocalist with experience working as a track/playback singer and training music teams of various colleges. Her research interest includes performance anxiety, voice changes among musicians (Music Psychology) and child academic performances (Child Psychology).
