Established in 1900, Firestone was originally based in Akron, Ohio

Firestone Complete Auto Care is a division of Firestone that offers automotive maintenance and repair

On 5th April 1923 Firestone Tyre and Rubber company started producing inflatable tyres for the first time. Established in the year 1900 Harvey S was first depended on other companies to manufacture rubber. Gaining success year after year, the company opened its first Firestone Complete Auto Care store.

1991: The first twins to appear together in a Test match

Mark and Steve achieved this feat against WestIndies in Trinidad

The twins scored over 35,000 international runs and 73 hundred of the 108 appearances between them.

Steve went on to become one of the greatest leaders that Australia has produced while Mark too had a successful decade playing for Australia. .

It's impossible to talk twins, in cricket at least, without starting with the Waughs. Steve started in international cricket first but then was famously dropped to allow Mark to make his debut. He soon made a comeback and both remained automatic choices for almost 10 years. As Steven Lynchh once said: "After sharing a womb, they shared a room for years too - but still ended up as very different personalities."

1764: British parliament passes sugar tax on the American Colonies

Sugar Act also known as American Revenue Act was passed by the Parliament of Great Britain on 5th of April 1764

The act aimed at improving the revenue of United Kingdom

Great Britain was facing economic impact due to the introduction of Sugar Act

Sugar Tax was an indirect tax regime which was introduced in Great Britain and it was imposed in the colonies when America was facing a huge economic depression. Merchants and shippers were most affected by the new tax regime and they also felt that it was an economic impact rather than constitutional issue of taxation without representations and it was the focus of the colonist. Sugar Act was a major flop and it hit major economies of the world and further affected the revenue.
